We have had 84 consecutive quarters of economic growth. Our unemployment rate is one of the lowest in the industrialized world. We enjoy a standard of living that would shock many outside our country. We have lines of people waiting to come to America, largely on word of mouth.
And it's been much, much worse before.
I continue to be optimistic, and I don't need a club to say it.

Interesting comment.
I liek how we Christian Conservatives celebrate in the face of Record Deficits, a Near Bankrupt Economy - due DIRECTLY to the Morally Vacant Neo-Con ideeologie of ENDLESS spending on War - combined with massive revenue give-backs to their wealthy backers.
Somehow - in spite of Disaster after Disaster - and 75% of Americans thinking The United States is on the Wrong Track - we Christian Conservatives STILL sing the EVERYTHING'S GREAT song.
And yet ... when Bill Clinton was leading our nation - we Christian Conservatives and Neo-Cons led the charge of impeachment - all because he offended our sense of Moral Superiority for havin sex with Monica.
We shure are a loony bunch.
