The reason that this story has wheels is that many of the freedoms we know about are severly curtailed for minors. That's why parents can make their lives miserable, because they don't have the rights adults do. This has been, and will be, argued by lawyers, but that's the basis.
The article doesn't say it's predominantly minors, but casual observation suggests so.
Now, don't hate on me, Big Fist. I'm against it, too.

/back in the 80's our pants sagged so much they were nonexistent. we would go everyplace dressed in t-shirts, boxers and boat shoes. no one ever gave us any flack for this. maybe because it was the 80's on Miami Beach. this new fad exposes less skin w/less chance of true indecent exposure.

I believe the story said ass cracks. I don't remember the 80's like that. I didn't see the story mention underwear hanging out or thong strings would be in line for that. But, I don't want my girls in their stroller walking behind someone's ass crack at the mall. Open an ass crack club and knock yourself out.

OK, somebody really does need to do something about the saggy pants. I mean, it's so easy to run these idiots down and give them wedgies, it's not even fun anymore.
Every time I give these dorks a well-deserved wedgie, I think "if their pants were up, I'd really have to work hard to run them down and give them a wedgie".
But this is an issue for the parents to handle, not the police. I sunk it for poor use of public funds. Maybe the police should give the parents a wedgie. Hey! Where do I sign up?
