67% of respondents to the related poll said tax money should be used for public transportation. To get away from oil and high prices, mass electric transit is the best way.

  I agree! Use mass transit whenever it is necessary! A lot of times you don't need to drive you're car at all.

  Not always. Some places are not suitable for mass transit. Quite a few mass transit systems are running in the red as well.

  Where were those people 25 years ago?
  Most likely sitting in traffic, alone, in their 4X4, idling on the freeway, bitching because the state refuses to get rid of the carpool lane.
