While I believe that there is a plan by the world's corporate elite to take control of the world's resources and its nations, I think this piece falls short by putting that attempt solely on European Corporatists, & creating an 'us vs them' illusion. There are American Corporatists on the same road. They tried and failed when FDR was president, and have resurfaced with george bush. It won't serve us well to ignore that.

This is truly one of the scarier parts of this article and adds to the overall believability of the piece.

History does repeat and the forces behind most of our misery can be seen as self-interested Kings and Kings of industry.

I would still subscribe more to jordan11's post and add the caveat that a nuclear based encounter between ANY two countries would have severe long term consequences for all of this planet and such knowledge being common makes it unlikely for matters to proceed that far.

Then again, who the fk knows what those "supremely confidant I will persevere intact" mofu's will try. Vigilance is always necessary for survival. Ask any rabbit.
