Do No Evil – The French newspaper, Le Monde, covered the actual events of the expulsion of Palestinians from their land in 1948. It bears reading on this 60th anniversary of the Nakba. The story presented by propagandists, that of a noble zionist underdog defending itself against Arab hordes, could not be further from the truth. The Nakba was ethnic cle
This is an important article since it exposes as lies most of the zionists denials about their ethnic cleansing campaign in 1948 and ever since. Ilan Pappe of Haifa University has been particularly honest in exposing the zionist crimes against humanity. An excellent selection of his articles can be found here:

"Most of these operations (with the exception of the latter) were marked by atrocities - a fact which led Aharon Zisling, the minister of agriculture, to tell the Israeli cabinet on 17 November 1948: "I couldn't sleep all night. I felt that things that were going on were hurting my soul, the soul of my family and all of us here (...) Now Jews too have behaved like Nazis and my entire being has been shaken (10).""

The only problem with this is that the speech given by the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem for the Palestinians to leave their homes is still available to be heard in archives around the world. David Ben-Gurion's speech asking them not to leave is still available to be heard as it too is still archived in various places. The "historians" cited in this article never had any real credibility within their communities or in world academia in general. Just another piece of propoganda that can easily be disputed.
oh really? Not what the BBC reported Edmar. You are just again peddling zionist myths that have long since been exposed as lies.
The Origin of the Palestine-Israel Conflict
Published by Jews for Justice in the Middle East
Arab orders to evacuate non-existent
"The BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) monitored all Middle Eastern broadcasts throughout 1948. The records, and companion ones by a United States monitoring unit, can be seen at the British Museum. There was not a single order or appeal, or suggestion about evacuation from Palestine, from any Arab radio station, inside or outside Palestine, in 1948. There is a repeated monitored record of Arab appeals, even flat orders, to the civilians of Palestine to stay put." Erskine Childers, British researcher, quoted in Sami Hadawi, "Bitter Harvest."

Didn't the Palestinians leave their homes voluntarily during the 1948 war?
"Israeli propaganda has largely relinquished the claim that the Palestinian exodus of 1948 was 'self-inspired'. Official circles implicitly concede that the Arab population fled as a result of Israeli action â;; whether directly, as in the case of Lydda and Ramleh, or indirectly, due to the panic that and similar actions (the Deir Yassin massacre) inspired in Arab population centers throughout Palestine. However, even though the historical record has been grudgingly set straight, the Israeli establishment still refused to accept moral or political responsibility for the refugee problem it â;; or its predecessors â;; actively created." Peretz Kidron, quoted in "Blaming the Victims," ed. Said and Hitchens.

As I said, the speech is still available to hear. Obviously Hyperbola, you're too caught up in your own pathological hate to make the attempt to hear it. That makes you stupid, not right.
Long since been exposed as lies? It's there for you to hear. Unfortunately, your pathological hatred prevents you from even attempting to listen to the speech. That makes you stupid, not right. Why doesn't that surprise me?
Go have a look at the archive in the British Museum Edmar. Why are you so obstinate in pushing lies that not even israelis believe anymore? Are you really so ancient?
Because my Department has a copy of the speech by the Grand Mufti. I won't debate with you what the world knows to be true anymore than I would debate with you about the Holocaust. You can deny anything that you want. It's a common mental illness to deny facts that are undeniable. It's been a common ploy of the Moslem population to deny just about everything if it serves their purpose. And the religion allows lying if it fosters the good of Islam. Hyperbola, I've said this many times and I will repeat myself. You just don't have the skill, knowledge or ability to debate anything of value. The people on this thread constantly laugh at you because they know you for what you are. The fact that you continue with your gibberish knowing that people are laughing at you is really sad. You just got shortchanged in the brains department. Have a good day, because I don't think that you are having a good life with your obsessive hate.
Good grief. As if what the "Grand Mufti" said is more significant than what armed Israelis did in massacring villages and driving the Palestinians out by force of arms. In context, Ben Gurion asking the Palestinians not to leave translates as "yes, we're shooting at you- but please don't run."
It's also quite noteworthy that if one were to substitute the word "jews" for "moslems" in your tirades, your comments could easily come right out of Nazi propaganda texts.
I'm all for recycling, "edmar," but not in this context.
