ROFLMAO, intersting spin of course but lets look at

1. The UN gave Saddam Hussein several sequential orders to let the WMD inspectors do their job with veiled "or else".

Odd, then why did Bush order them out when they started to report NO WMD or Programs to create? Oh yeah, he was losing his excuse to invade.

2. It was the consensus of opinion that Iraq had WMD by all western intelligence agencies.

Odd that several intel communities questioned the data that the Bushies were using to the extent Bush decided against going to the UN with it since it would be shon to be cherry picked and WAY out of date.

3. President Bush told Iraq that if they didn't comply the US would get involved to enforce the UN mandate.

Yet Bush orders the inspectors out when Saddam DID allow them to inspect as directed. Hmmmmm kinda odd there.

4. Congress based on all the western worlds intelligence reports gave President Bush the authority to act.

ROFLMAO, thats the best twist yet. Seems Congress gave Bush authority to use force only AFTER all diplomatic means had been exhausted. Considering inspections were going on and reporting NO WMD or programs to create existed what exactly was Saddam NOT doing?? Plus as stated above several intel communities questioned Bush;s intel as faulty and WAY out of date.

5. Bush had a coalition of countries helping him. (The UAW is there.)

yeah who would EVER invade anywhere unless you had Tahiti and Trinidad and Tobabgo behind you. BTW how is that Coalition today? You dont seem to hear too much about it.

ROFLMAO

6. Enforcing the UN mandates and under the congressional approval President Bush invaded Iraq.

Hmmmmm Im a little unclear on this one, Seems you righties like to say the UN is powerless and inept and most times doesn;t have a clue yet you seem to be saying our primary job is to enforce UN mandates?? Oh I get it we've revised our view of them and we must be getting ready to invade Israel now to enforce the numerous UN mandates that they refuse to follow right?

Don't forget to add that Congress also made it clear that force should only be used if absoutely necessary with concrete evidence to back it up. None of which existed. Yet, Bush still invaded.
