Clearly you need to be enlightened! This is related as our bozo President actually believes the events will occur just like Hagee believes. Clearly this must enter his mindset when decision making(sic). "Will my actions trigger Armageddon? What do you think, Dick?" Of course that kind of talk only gets Cheney excited.
Of course they have to find a pure red heifer and rebuild the Temple before Armageddon can happen in any prophetic manner. Hagee and his ilk are trying...these people should be kept as far away from the seat of power as possible.

Have you seen the new 'Diplomatic' center in Baghdad? The blast walls look an awful lot like a Ziggurat. Granted it's not on Temple Mount.
He doesn't really believe that stuff. He used that christian crap to get elected. He has proven over and over that he shined on the christian right groups just to get elected. He gives a lot of lip service to them talking about going to church and praying, but he is really praying to the almighty dollar.

I wish I thought he didn't. Our ties to Israel are mainly based on Biblical prophesy. Somewhere between 40-65% of Americans believe the Bible as literal. They don't have to believe in the Rapture which is a much later addition. They believe Armageddon is pre-ordained and will ultimately happen. The new kingdom of Israel is a key to the timetable by their beliefs.
Dionys, I saw a show hosted by Morris Cerrulo, an End Times nut, and he had a guest on who was suggesting the "new" Temple can be built in full scale on the Temple Mount without disturbing any Muslim Site. The fanatacism of these people has few boundaries. Of course even the planning stages of such an act could potentially set off a Holy War. Just what the world needs.
It's always strange to me that these people think they can control God by their actions to bring forth some end-times apocalypse.
