I thought that only went on in Arizona ? Get caught with one illegal and they shut you down .

That's it EXACTLY! Go after the Corporations, Companies, Corporate Farmers, businesses and small businesses that hire them.

Postville is a small Iowa town about fifty miles northeast of where i live.It used to be your average small town, small meat packing plant that hired local people, small businesses, kind of the Norman Rockwell scene.Almost half of the town is Hispanic now, mostly illegal.

The people were being paid minimum, and slightly better, wage. The schools are being filled with kids that can't speak English which makes it necessary to hire additional teachers to teach English, all at taxpayer expense. This is a major problem with the packing house's in Iowa now. These place were once operated with American workers that made good wages(twenty dollar an hour, union, with benefits)and now are using illegal workers at crap wages. They do this while telling the public that Americans won't do this work and prices would increase if they don't have the illegals.B.S.!!!Most of the people i know in this area, myself included, worked in a packing house at one time or another..cont.

The wages were good, thanks to good unions and a trained workforce.Tough work, but people(Americans have never minded hard work for a decent wage)did the work and raised their familys on a paycheck that let them buy into the American dream. The prices on meat was much lower then than it is now,so that kind of blows the notion that illegals keep the price down.It is due to corporate greed that you see the rise in price's and the low pay.

I have nothing against people that come here legally(my wife is one of those) and want to be American,i welcome them and will, and have, help in anyway i can. They are America. What we have now is an invasion, not immigration, and it is rotting the foundation of this country. These people that were arrested are illegal, was in possession of illegal documents, were making illegal documents, were carrying weapons, and stealing other peoples identity.cont.

They are protesting on our land and are going to sue us for not letting them be here illegally.lol,Sue us,protest against US.Am i missing something ?

I want Laws enforced and violators prosecuted, the illegals and the employers.

Try doing the same thing they are doing in Mexico or any other country and see what happens.

If you come here legally and respect our laws and customs then i at least owe you my respect. To those that come here illegally i owe nothing except my foot on your azz helping push you back to where you come from.

I hear the argument all the time that these poor people just come here for a better life, good then do it legally and you will be welcomed,do it illegally and what should i think. The first action you take is breaking the law and i should show sympathy,no.If i were to rob a bank and then try to tell the jury that i just wanted a better life for my family, lol,do you think they would show me sympathy?

BD the eyeopener for me was 'Fast Food Nation.'

You like that also,lol.

Somehow hiring illegals does not seem very kosher to me.

avatar
Reply

That is really way too funny . Oy Vey , who will replace these workers ?

avatar
Reply

If they paid a living wage Americans.

avatar
Reply

BD that's all I'm asking for is a living wage. Wages are still what they were, what 30 years ago? Yet everything from buying a home, renting, cars (new or used), gas, and necessaties have gone up.

In the TC more Middle Class Americans are accessing food shelfs because they can not afford to pay both bills and buy food. Most of the food shelfs will only allow you to access them four times a year and then refer you to a church or county for budget counseling. Excuse me but when a gallon of gas is about the same price as a gallon of milk there is something wrong.

Why hasn't this received more attention? This is the biggest on site raid in U.S.history.When Britney passes gas it gets more national news coverage.

avatar

Well it would seem that dirty, smelly, thievein' illegals does not get the 'market share' that celebrity gas and asx gets.

I mean the MSM has to make a profit.

avatar
Reply

Think maybe the MSM missed something here? Hmmmmm

avatar
Reply

Why haven't we heard more about this? Who is trying to keep this hush hush?

avatar
Reply

Hmmmmm, lets see who profits from low wages?Who would it embarrass ? Who is destroying the middle class?

I can't take credit for the submission, that was Shankari25's submission.I was just trying to help pass this along. It is an important story and i think it is one that needs to be discussed until OUR government gets off it's butt and starts doing more to secure our borders and insure our sovereignty.

BD I stand corrected. Thank you for letting me know about this submission. Thansk Shankari25 for posting it.

Hooray! Great job ICE!!

That woman in the photo holding up the sign "We are not robbers" is a blatant liar. Not only are they thieves when they steal someone else's identity, they are criminal trespassers and that is the least of it.

The identity theft alone causes uncounted woes for the victims, especially if the victim is on disability, or retired on Social Security and lose their sole income for months because of these foreign crooks.

Most hard-working Americans freak when they get a bill from the IRS for unreported income they made in some place they never even heard of, and it is not a piece of cake to fix either.

Won't even mention the theft of social services, etc.

I am not at all speaking of our legal immigrants. I welcome them to their new home and say congratulations fellow citizens!

I know about snafu's with the IRS over mysterious income.

What a real pain in the axe.

There is an obvious effort on the part of business to keep the free flow of exploitable cheap labor flowing, the real criminals are the people who are exploiting these people. Ending this thinly disguised anti labor, anti union, anti working people activity is very simple. No new laws or fences are needed. simply fine the hell out of those who hire illegals. Throw them in Jail if there is a second offense.

Use the money generated by the fines to sure up social security.

avatar
Reply

Use the money to buy gas to bus the illegals out of the country.

avatar
Reply

Good idea but it appears that once bused out they find a way to walk back in.

avatar
Reply

Well then take half the money and finish building the fence. And dont stop at just a fenc. Add some cameras and some drones.

avatar
Reply

I agree.

avatar
Reply

They come because they are invited, by businesses that are looking for a way around fair labor practices, start fining them 100,000 dollars an incident, jail their management for repeat offenses. Illegal immigration will cease overnight, these folks only come because they are invited.

avatar
Reply

I think you are using the wrong terminology here. Businesses like the illegal labor but I seriously doubt there are invitations being mailed out.

avatar
Reply

Maybe not by the business itself, but the illegals they hire let everyone they know that they can get work there.

avatar
Reply

Cant argue that

avatar
Reply

You make a good point, however it is still illegal

avatar
Reply

Absolutely illegal and should be prosecuted as such.

avatar
Reply

Cant argue that point...

avatar

AB,

... last I heard the invitations are relayed via the Mexican Government...

It is anti-American Radiofree, it's not anti-union. When they had all those illegal criminal rallies a few years ago, it was labor unions who were providing buses, free transportation, to get them to and from certain cities.

I do agree, any enabler, business, relative, friend, Coyote, union or landlord who is part of this travesty should be prosecuted and jailed and/or fined.

avatar
Reply

Cactus, if you have a link that proves this I'd appreciate sharing it. Local unions should not be advocating hiring foreign labor that displaces their own workers, and makes them compete for substandard wages, it is self defeating. The quest for slavery is what sent most jobs to China and what is left to "black market" laborers. How this benefits any union is beyond comprehension. It is indeed anti American though.

Hey again, RadioFree! Here is just a sampling of the Union stance on these illegal intruders:

There is a lot of info out there, I just don't have a lot of time right now...

Best regards to you, if you can help turn this union trend, the rest of America would be in your debt!

avatar
Reply

Here in Iowa i think you would be hard pressed to find any union or union member that would give an illegal a ride any where except the border.

avatar

Not the same down in Wichita where they were transporting illegals up to Topeka to demonstrate...

CA like RFE requested please provide a link that backs it up.

I was born in Wichita. When i think of union states Kansas NEVER comes to mind.

WE are being raped by these businesses.I think the actions of those involved are treasonous and should be dealt with accordingly.

"There are civil and criminal penalties for hiring illegal aliens. Sec. 274A of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) and 8 U.S.C. 1324a, makes it unlawful for any person knowingly to hire, recruit or refer for a fee any alien not authorized to work. An employer that violates these laws can face penalties of:

· $250 to $2,000 fine for each unauthorized individual;

· $2,000 to $5,000 for each employee if the employer has previously been in violation; or

· $3,000 to $10,000 for each individual if the employer was subject to more than one cease and desist order.

avatar
Reply

The employer could also be fined $100 to $1,000 for each individual "paperwork" violation.

The criminal penalties for a pattern and practice violation can be up to $3,000 for each unauthorized alien, imprisonment up to six months, or both.

There are legal means to hire foreign workers on a temporary or permanent basis and our office can help you explore your options."

There just seems to be a lack of will to enforce laws already on the books.

avatar
Reply

The laws are in place, always have been, the fines are not enough to offset the money saved by paying below minimum wage and off the books (no taxes, no social security etc.) Make it 20,000 to 100,000 dollars per incidence. Oh they might go bankrupt? Fine. We don't need a single business willing to commit treason for the sake of a dollar an hour. Get out of the way and let a business paying fair wages stop having to compete with slave labor employers. And as Uncle Dave points out there is no enforcement.

Please could someone improve my lack of knowledge here. BUT, I was under the impression that the US constitution applied to US citizens ?

Unless I am wrong, WTF is the ACLU doing, opening their mouths ???

Let me guess, someone has infringed these illegals "human rights"......

Kick em out, ALL of them !!!

That's from a non-US citizen.....

avatar
Reply

The ACLU is trying to turn this into a constitutional issue. Which begs the question..are illegals covered under the U.S. Constitution? I say no
