Plagiarized the footage?? Ohhh my! Lots of these idiots rely on extremely flawed computer models as well in their gloom-and-doom predictions.

And just how is a fictional movie supposed to use real footage?
Come on, Give pore old Al a break would ya. That jet fuel is going through the roof too and a man has gotta get back and forth to work doesn't he? Well it takes a lot of money to cover Al's monthly utility and fuel bills and fictions are always a big draw at the box office.

He used a CGI-made clip of Arctic ice during an opening scene. The clip came from 'The Day After Tomorrow'.
It was not used as part of any evidence presented. For displays of arctic ice melting, etc, there are plenty of real-time nasa photos but they are high up and kinda dull.
If you zoom in to the clip, you can see that one of the polar bears is holding a coke.

In the clip I saw, and watched until I could hold back the nausea no more, Gore was literally saying that humans were turning Earth into Venus, and the only way to keep Earth from becoming a Venus-like charcoal briquette was to pass his global carbon tax.
Gore's abject stupidity is not a surprise. That serious-minded people give him the time of day is shocking.
