April 19, 2008, 5:51 p.m.I know it was satire, but it's the truth. Pair those same things with a democrat, and the freaks in the media WOULD be asking those very questions as though they were legitimate. I hope a whole lot of people see this.

April 20, 2008, 11:39 a.m.lol, AS IF the media isnt totally liberally biased! Please, you people have had it so good in the media for so long now when you ACTUALLY HAVE TO FACE TOUGH QUESTIONS in a debate you all FREAK out!
F'ING PATHETIC!

Probably a lot of liberals and/or Democrats and some independents will. The rest either won't even see the video at all, or if they do, they won't "see it". People with double standards don't seem to be able to put themselves in the place of the other.

April 20, 2008, 9:38 a.m.John McCain (D-GOP) has only two things working for him.
1. Hillary
2. Obama

April 20, 2008, 12:05 p.m.The only people who will vote for McCain are those who are voting against a Democrat.

April 20, 2008, 4:29 p.m.Tchef, I hear what you're saying...if that were true (which is debatable) would it be different in any substantive way from the "Anybody But Bush" mantra that we heard from Democrats in the last election cycle?

April 20, 2008, 1:38 p.m.Keith Overbite is a truly troubled individual. He pledges allegiance tp Obama certainly not to America!
-

April 20, 2008, 7:25 p.m.I dont know much bout Overbite or Oberman and not really much bout Obama.
But the worst thing that has happened to our nation in my lieftime is that day January 20, 2001.
Thats in retrospect.
I was hoping for the best from this admitted coke-head, alcoholic, avowed nar-do-well, draft dodger ... but alas, my fears were validated.
I mean, really, anyone who still supports the failed policies of this administration should be eradicated from the votin roles - because they clearly do not have Americas best interest at heart.

April 20, 2008, 1:47 p.m.Should be classified as "humor"; and "destroys" is a bit of an exageration, don't you think?
-

ML2007
April 20, 2008, 2:57 p.m.Actually, Simon, even though the piece is satire, the implications are true and not an exaggeration at all. They laughed in the video because those there that know Keith best, knew he was using satire. McCains life and bid for the Presidency is no laughing matter. This buffoon of GWB proportions may actually get elected. If he does, just like with GWB, we will sadly be laughing for 4 years again. It beats suicide or crying.

April 20, 2008, 2:30 p.m.Keith is spot on. And what about his adultery with the woman who is now his wife? And her drug abuse? And his associations and connivance with the Keating 5? What about all that? Hum?
-

libsRfunny
April 20, 2008, 3:18 p.m.Yeah, Obama's admitted drug abuse, connection to Rezko and affinity for racists like Wright are such great qualities LOL.
And Hillary? The Clintons have a long history of corruption.
-

JoseMadre
April 20, 2008, 4:08 p.m.Fair questions. Except the Democrats already dropped adultery and drug use as an issue (Bill Clinton.
Rezko is now, and is still Obama's friend. Keating was over 20 years ago and has been cursed by McCain since. Point McCain.
Obama has a friendly relationship with WU bomber William Ayres. Game over.

April 20, 2008, 2:49 p.m.Trying to educate Le Muffette's supporters is an never ending job. Oh well, like the ram butting the dam, someday they'll get it through their wittle pea brains that he is the worst ever put forward as a candidate for President.

ML2007
April 20, 2008, 2:52 p.m.Sometimes there is a lot of truth in satire. I am not a big fan of Olbermann, but his questions concerning McCain were just a fair as the questions the media and all have been asking Obama and Clinton. I also liked the fact the video connected right on with the hypocrisy of Stephanopoulos. Good job Keith. I heard laughing in the background, but it really is no laughing matter.

April 20, 2008, 2:52 p.m.As a voter on the liberal side of things I have to say that I am more radical than liberal. Partisanship obscures the truth like nothing else. Having said that, I believe that every and any effort to change course from the shameful disaster of the bushist regime is the only clear option if a person is interested in saving civilization from the looming globalization holocost. The distractions of the popular media are part of the dumbmachine, the moronic inferno where that part of the population which is easily lead, who are indiscriminate and gullible live. Either you are with the bushterrorists or you are with America. there should be an IQ test for voters. Am I too cynical or too realistic? I just don't know...

April 20, 2008, 3:32 p.m.I happen to enjoy Olbermann in the same way that I enjoy Jon Stewart. Neither takes the news 'that seriously' when it is at its most absurd.
And although this was satire there certainly is some truth to it. The fact, however, is that there REALLY are important issues that need to be addressed in this election and frankly, until a lapel pin is going to make a difference in the price of gas or the jobs that are being shipped over seas with tax breaks, it REALLY isn't that big of deal!

April 20, 2008, 4:11 p.m.Olbermann and Rush are both clowns who view the world through distorted glasses.

April 20, 2008, 4:30 p.m.You beat me to the punch, JoseMadre. I was going to make that exact comparison.

April 20, 2008, 4:48 p.m.Obermann is a moron who can't keep his facts straight even when hosting the NBC Sunday Night Football game. It seems that every Monday he is taken to task by the radio personalities on WFAN660, ESPN1050 and EVERY reputable NY sports reporter for his lack of knowledge of the game, his analysis of the game and his constant errors in reporting the most trivial off the field happenings concerning teams and players. That he is considered to be a journalist of repute is laughable. It just goes to show you what passes for journalism in the MSM today. A smug, condescending pompous JACKASS masquerading as Edward R Morrow. Truly laughable.
