March 31, 2008, 12:12 p.m.This goes WAY beyond sick.......
I do not normally wish harm on people, BUT, in this case, I hope ALL those who eat the meat suffer mercury poisoning....
I hope that this film becomes a global blockbuster, and dumps enough pressure on the Japanese Govt, that they cease this barbaric abomination.... Trouble is, they've ignored the whaling "ban" (woops, I forgot, it's only for scientific research, and you can't eat whale meat in Japan AT ALL)......
TE - Great post - I'll "share" with as many as I can......

March 31, 2008, 3:37 p.m.Hey wolfie - Please explain how you could "sink" this story ???
I, for one, can see no reason (unless you happen to live in the small town concerned, in which case I could understand you being upset about it)......
But given your login, I find that hard to believe.....

March 31, 2008, 6:38 p.m.Hard to believe indeed!
Named and shamed, deservedly.
Thanks for the heads-up Dicax.
It was a tough read and even worse seeing the pictures.
I'll be sharing the story with a few people but with a triple X warning.
Kudos to the very brave and dedicated people who seemingly risked their own lives to bring this scandal to the attention of the world.
I will NOT be going to see that film but its very important that it was made.

April 1, 2008, 2:15 p.m.Why is this permitted? International sanctions against Japan could stop this immediately; they are an island nation and not self-sufficient. Utterly barbaric to do this to intelligent creatures.
