O'Reilly on the right and whomever his doppelganger on the left is rely on people without the capacity for critical thought. It's simple really, listen to a variety of sources and recognize that the truth lies somewhere in the middle.

The truth is we are being herded. The divisions caused by these "talking" heads takes your eyes off the fact that we are one people with the same beefs and interests. We all want a government that cares about our needs and not the needs of corporations and banks. We all want our children to be fed, go to decent schools and have a future. We all want "GOOD" jobs.
People like O'Reilly cause divisions so we fight each other instead of putting the blame were it belongs. SLIGHT OF HAND. Watch this hand while I pillage your country with this one.
