The men, who faced prison for criminal conspiracy to commit robbery, can remain on parole if they learn to read and write English, earn their GEDs and get full-time jobs, Luzerne County Judge Peter Paul Olszewski Jr. said.

Why is this Judge still on the Bench? People in Pennsylvania are asking for more gun laws. This judge gives probation to armed robbers in drug deals? Why are they not doing long terms in prison? Why are they allowed to remain in this Country?

first of all, you dont need to be in the US if you cant speak english, it just puts a strain on society. who wants to deal with some ri ri from mexico or china that cant speak english. hell the mexican is prolly illeagal anyways. bottom line, learn english before you come to america to have your babies and fulfill your american dream and open your chinese food buffets, yeah we like them but we dont know what your saying when you talk to us.

I find the judge's ruling a bit unorthodox but not inappropriate. Maybe if these criminals learned english and got a job they wouldn't be such a burden to society. Anyways, I do hope so.

Maybe, if they learned english, the judge would not have to provide translators at their deportation hearing.
