i'm interested in knowing when and where kennedy made this speech. i'm also interested in knowing who produced and edited this video. some pretty provoking images.

i recommend just listening to the speech and ignoring the video. in my view, this speech ranks right up there with eisenhower's warning about the military industrial complex.

Agreed! I ignored the images as I was listening to the speech of JFK's. How eloquently prophetic his words were! and how can we as citizens of this country let the powers that be push this national, and even international system of things to the point as to where it is now? Utterly fragmented chaos!? We must galvanize together as responsible citizens, and put a stop to the madness or perish in flames.

What happened? One should just look in the mirror. You, me, and 300 million others are all responsible. Now it is up to all of us to right those wrongs.

We must accept the responsibility of letting things reach this point and refuse to allow it to proceed to the disaster that awaits us if we fail. Time to recognize that the lesser of two evils is still evil. We allowed it. We condoned it and now we are eating the bitter fruit of our own betrayal. Will we change, or will we allow these (call them what you will) to run rough shod over the Rule of Law and our Constitution. God help us all if we fail.

V. Not for victory, nor vengeance but for vigilance, because we must be ever watchful of those who would steal the very freedoms we have through fear and indifference allowed to be circumvented.

That was a good speech John Kennedy made! Without Rule of law and our Constitution, America wouldn't be America!

We have to keep reminding our representatives that they work for us, not for Corporate interest nor for lobbyists!

Thanks engineer!

It's all fine to realize we've been had. But a majority of us voters knew what the score was in 2000 AND 2004, and when the fix went down, nobody done NOTHIN!!! All Congress had to do to fix our most glaring problem, the media's lack of independence to report to us the facts, was to force the FCC to re-regulate ownership. Nothing has been done. We still have no real information or rational dialog occurring. The Dems in Congress let us down big time, all because they are afraid that the media will paint them as too bipartisan and unpatriotic during war time. We've proved that we allow this to happen very easily.

WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO THIS TIME????

Near as I can tell, let them divide us by race and religion and sex, again.
