    Why would someone that gives one ounce of credit to this garbage be concerned about the truth. Kind of hypocritical in my opinion.

We conclude that, on the basis of the intelligence assessments at the time, covering both Niger and the Democratic Republic of Congo, the statements on Iraqi attempts to buy uranium from Africa in the Government's dossier, and by the Prime Minister in the House of Commons, were well-founded. By extension, we conclude also that the statement in President Bush's State of the Union Address of 28 January 2003 that:

              "The British Government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa"

              was well-founded.

                    On 8 November 2002, the Security Council passed Resolution 1441 by a unanimous 15 to 0 vote, which included Russia, China and France, and Arab countries, such as Syria. This gave this resolution wider support than even the 1990 Gulf War resolution.

                    "Deploring the fact that Iraq has not provided an accurate, full, final, and complete disclosure, as required by resolution 687 (1991), of all aspects of its programmes to develop weapons of mass destruction and ballistic missiles with a range greater than one hundred and fifty kilometres, and of all holdings of such weapons, their components and production facilities and locations, as well as all other nuclear programmes, including any which it claims are for purposes not related to nuclear-weapons-usable material,"

        I was not defending Bush..I was commenting on the fact that the article said "our Vietnam War "Deserter in Chief"

        This is an out and out lie. But people so eager to bash Bush ignor fact and just jump on the band wagon. If I had the choice between being a dinosaur and a liar Bush bashing groopy I will take dinosaur every time.

          He went AWOL. BTW, he went AWOL.

          There is a bet, I believe it is up to $50K now, for whoever can prove Bush was there during the time period in question. The bet started when Bush was campaigning for the Republican nominee in 1999.

          Bush dodged the draft, only to desert his unit during war time.

          The signs of his disdain for accountability, people, and the military were there from decades ago. Nothing new here.

  My worry is that we the people can't tell the difference, or, we are to complacent to do something forcefull about it, such as demand accounting via established legal procedures through our representatives in the capitol city.
