I live in Florida where the lawn service is year round. Tell that to a neighbor and another friend of mine whose lawn service companies are being devastated by these ILLEGAL aliens working together as a company and undercutting what citizens of this country can't work for. They live in packed houses and apartments to keep the cost of living down. They drive without licenses and insurance. They pack the emergency rooms and take other services that I pay taxes for.
The workers these two men used to hire can't get jobs because they can't make a living on what these ILLEGAL people make. The companies they have might not make it. Taxes are climbing.

But it's even worse than you think! When interviewed, these commie-pinko-socialist illegal workers said they are willing to contribute 4% or more of whatever they make to a universal healthcare plan! The little sh!ts are expecting minimum wage, too! Next, they'll start thinking that we'll let them share in the American dream! NOT! Many of them are already paying FICA tax under somebody elses SSAN for benefits they will never see. Lucky for my corporation that the border is still porus and we can continue to exploit and abuse these workers to improve our bottom line. Yup, we have a new enemy to blame for all our ills! Too bad we can't pin 9-11 on them, too, but we already blamed Iraq for that, thanks to FOX news and our other media outlets. Repeat it over and over. Illegal aliens are the biggest problem America faces today! C'mon, keep repeating it until it's true!

They are not illegal immigrants, they are illegal aliens. Somehow we cleaned our own toilets, and mowed our own lawns in the past, and we will again when they are gone. They can always come back when they have made the effort to come back legally. You are right though, any candidate that doesn't address the problems we have with illegal aliens will not go far in the general election.

Agree. Ever seen the show Dirty Jobs? Shows the filthy, horrid, nasty jobs done in this country by Americans. Like you said we have done them for years and I think those Americans that are hungry and want to work will and can do those jobs. It is the employers/business' here in the USA that desire the cheaper labor, most illegals will work much cheaper, without benefits so that is a huge savings to employers. I have nothing against immigrants that come here in controlled numbers and come here legally, it is the ILLEGAL ALIENS that cause the problems.

America needs soldiers. Round them all up and either do five years in the military, or back you go! After standing up for the country you have chosen to squat in, you may have citizenship, and what ever money the military has given you towards education, you may use to better yourself as an AMERICAN. An ENGLISH SPEAKING American. Sounds reasonable to me.

I believe they should register and become legal citizens (those that qualify). A time limit should be imposed for them to register, after that time has expired and you are found in the country illegally, you are sent back. To try and locate the this number of illegals and send them back would be an impossible task. I know a lot of the community here supports this ..... I would like to hear their plan for accomplishing it. For example .... the manpower required and the logistics.

This is based on 10 million illegals ..... an an estimated cost. Historically "actual" far exceed estimates when dealing with government. It would take five years according to the article ..... that is based on no new illegals entering the US.
"The study estimates that it would cost about $28 billion per year to apprehend illegal immigrants, $6 billion a year to detain them, $500 million for extra beds, $4 billion to secure borders, $2 million to legally process them and $1.6 billion to bus or fly them home."

The people who least like that solution is the ones who came here legally and have green card or are citizens now. They had to go through the legal process.
Under Reagan there was an amnesty given that allowed them to become legal with the promise that future ones would be sent back. That promise was short circuited when the super libs screamed. They then poured over the border. Now the people here want a closed border before anything else. No talk of ANYTHING until the border is closed.
We must be doing something right since we need a border to keep people out. Most other countries need one to keep them in.

WOW You really are envious of me. Or is that all Americans? Course you are closer to the North Pole than we are should we call you Poles too. what is wrong with being Canadian. Looks to me there are a lot of fantastic people up there. When you grow up you will relize how much you got and appreciate all you have.
