The foam is what the woman must use about 20 minutes before anything happens. For more info

The foam has also caused allergic reactions in every woman I've known who has tried it. More importantly, it ruined many a good time for me. Sorry, not a fan of foam.

I have two siblings conceived with foam use, so I'm not really convinced as to its effectiveness!

I am grateful, however.

Sponges are all about the foam, and yeah ... used alone is not a good idea.
