ROFLMAO!!!

Serves him right! It's people like him, with frivolous lawsuits like the one he filed that are what's wrong with our legal system. He showed an extreme lack of integrity and knowledge of the law by trying to exploit it for his own purposes, he has no business ruling on legal matters.

well, lets not give up on frivolous lawsuits till a flock of lawyers file on Pearson,

and may they pick his bones clean like vultures.

Yes! The law of Karma prevails yet again!

"The case ended with a D.C. Superior Court judge's ruling in the cleaners' favor. Pearson later indicated he would appeal."

Ten to one across the board that he loses.

Too bad the the dry cleaner Pearson sued got taken to the cleaners defending this stupid lawsuit, and went out of business. The cleaner should file a countersuit

Yes

Bowing to the emotional and financial strains of two years of litigation, Soo and Jin Chung today announced the closing of the dry cleaners that may or may not have lost a pair of Pearson's pants that he put in for a $10 alteration in 2005.

"They were just tired of the whole ordeal," the Chungs' daughter-in-law, Soo Choi, told me today. "A lot of people view this comically because the case is so outrageous, but my mother-in-law has gone down four dress sizes from this whole ordeal. They just want to put this in their past."

I didn't know.

At first I heard that they would continue.

This is sad and outrageous.

YES they should sue the bastard (excuse my french) for all he has.

It is sad to know wthat one man's selfishnes and greed can destroy honest, hard working people's life like that.

I hope his peers and collegues do something agains him.

It is so sad that this man was a judge. I can just imagine how this jerk handled cases. I am glad that his career is finished.

This man could buy a dozen pair of pants just like those. He is obviously prejudiced against Orientals. I am glad justice was done, Hopefully he will have to make up for the damage he has done to them financially.

I'll bet all this publicity has brought them more business. And good for them. I'm glad this suit was denied and that he'll be punished by losing his job. Wish that everyone who brings a frivilous suit to court is made to pay a penalty.

Sorry. They went broke and had to close because of this freaking idiot. Talk about justice gone awry.

And remember your tax dollars will pay his retirement. He's not being removed for misconduct so he'll be entitled to his full retirement. And let's be real. In two months he'll be working the private sector with ease. How many folks even remembered his name last week?

avatar

There should be a way that the city, or his pears could do something about that. It WAS "misconduct" AND ABUSE of his powers and status

If only this would prevent frivolous lawsuits!

There was a judge in NY who cited a coffee cart guy with contempt for not serving his drink like he wanted it. The judge is delivering coffee now.

Some judges suffer from serious mental collapse and forget that they're only somebody when they're in the courtroom... but the start believing that they're a god and what they say goes, no matter what. Time for the nut house. Other brilliant things from the last year or so, a judge helping a murderer avoid a cop who was waiting to arrest him, a judge masturbating in the courtroom during trials, a judge in my city busted for fixing traffic and dui tickets for friends and celebrities... I guess it doesn't take much of a person to be a judge.

when the coffee boy comes to the office now everyone calls out - "here comes da judge"
