"Ahmad al Shayea lived through the blast and returned to Saudi Arabia where he is speaking out against his former cohorts, CNN reported Friday.
"'I think God took me out of death to show others what can happen," he told the network. "If you join al-Qaida, they will use you, and maybe you will die.'"
