The purpose of the letter was to address the heavily Anti-SEO sentiment on Digg. Education and open dialogs on both sides were the goals. Unfortunately, Digg didn't receive the letter. Just read the incredibly ignorant responses from the Digg faithful.

  I expected it yes but I hoped it wouldn't. I mean there are idiots in any group. I just didn't realize how many there were at digg that wouldn't even listen to (not to mention participate in) a reasonable discussion.
