Aug. 5, 2006, 12:40 p.m.This is a non-event. An IP address traces to a Yahoo. Yahoo has lots of employees, some of which are probably Wikipedia users/editors. Some of whom may have worked for the competition at some point in the past. It's perfectly reasonable to expect that they are simply correcting or changing something.
I'm sure you'd find similar findings from Google's, MSFT's, Intel's, and any other major business's IP addresses.
Why the need for conspiracy theories and sensationalist nonsense?

Aug. 5, 2006, 4:39 p.m.It's not the first story I've seen that claims a competing interest, business or political, is editing wikipedia entries. Some are valid claims and some are just claims.
As far as conspiracy theories go, that's a nice yahoo-purple colored shirt you are wearing on your icon!
